Volunteers are appointed or elected to direct each group\u2019s work, in conjunction with conference staff support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Boards<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/who-we-are\/governance\/\"><strong>Central Conference Executive Board<\/strong> <\/a>administers conference ministries on behalf of Central Conference churches.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/resources\/\">Harbor Point Ministries Board<\/a> <\/strong>oversees both <a href=\"http:\/\/www.covenantharbor.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Covenant Harbor Bible Camp &amp; Retreat Center<\/a> (Lake Geneva WI) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cpbc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Covenant Point Bible Camp<\/a> (Iron River MI) in the Central Conference.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/ministries\/women-ministries\/\"><strong>Central Conference Women Ministries Board<\/strong><\/a> coordinates and supports Central Conference women ministries including local groups, fall retreat, and other projects.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/ministries\/ministerial-association-ccma\/)\"><strong>Central Conference Ministerial Association Board <\/strong><\/a>represents and attends to the credentialed Covenant ministers and staff of the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Commissions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>Compassion, Mercy &amp; Justice Commission<\/strong> promotes urban and multicultural ministry and supports ministries of community development, compassion, and justice.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>Nominating Commission<\/strong> identifies and recommends gifted people for all conference ministries, and prepares the ballot for the <a href=\"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/what-we-do\/connect-churches\/celebration\/\">Central Conference Annual Meeting<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The boards and commissions of the Central Conference administer specific [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":5,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"footnotes":""},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/498"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/5"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=498"}],"version-history":[{"count":2,"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/498\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":547,"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/498\/revisions\/547"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/centralconf.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=498"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
