Our Mission

Harbor Point Ministries connects Central Conference Covenant churches to Covenant Harbor and Covenant Point Bible camps, strengthening ministry opportunities for all.

With one voice, Harbor Point Ministries promotes Christian camping at Covenant Harbor and Covenant Point to our churches and encourages their participation and support. We partner in evangelism and discipleship with the churches of the Central Conference, helping them draw people to Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

Harbor Point Ministries envisions a strong network of all Central Conference Covenant churches who are aware, engaged and supporting our two strategically aligned camps. Harbor Point Ministries shares the vision of Covenant Harbor and Covenant Point, promotes Christian camping to our churches, encourages their participation and support, and partners with them in evangelism and discipleship.

Our Core Values

 Vibrant relationships

We believe that strong relationships between camps and churches benefit all. We seek to:

  • Communicate the value of camp ministry to all Central Conference churches.
  • Welcome new pastors, helping them get to know and appreciate our camps.

Ministry partnerships

We believe the camps come along side churches to enhance and support ministry. We seek to:

  • Demonstrate how camp ministry can help church ministry.
  • Develop events and activities which can help specific churches with specific needs.

Supportive ownership

We believe church ownership of our camps carries benefits and responsibilities. We seek to:

  • Determine the needs of each church that can be best met at camp.
  • Seek participation and support from all Central Conference churches.
